Anusia Battersby is a Manchester-based actor, voice actor, and writer. She studied at the University of Oxford and ALRA North, and has spent the last few years working on a variety of projects within the realms of theatre, film, and audio drama (as well as rolling many dice, baking many cakes, and attempting to learn both Ancient Greek and the ukulele). After being introduced to 'The Magnus Archives' by a friend, Anusia rather belatedly realised that horror might be for her after all (she also notes that, as a writer whose stories since childhood have usually turned out to be murder mysteries, ghost stories, or some combination of the two, this probably shouldn't have been as much of a surprise as it was). She can currently be heard as Gwendolyn Bouchard in The Magnus Protocol, and her spooky one-woman theatre show, 'Unscrypted', is now available to view online.
